What does Event Management mean and why do I need that if we only need a DJ?

ü     First refer to our Commitment to Excellence guarantee on the front page to get an overview of our process. Honestly, this is exactly what sets our company apart from every other “DJ” out there. The DJ is the one that can make or break any event or party and when it comes to one of the most important days of your life, your wedding/reception, you can not afford not to have a talented and personable event coordinator, as well. Even if you already have a wedding planner/ coordinator, the DJ is the one that announces every event and they will truly appreciate the assistance from a professional. If all the other vendors are not on the “same page” it will be anywhere from unorganized to a total disaster. If you do not have a wedding planner/coordinator you will be the one looking at your watch and taking on the immense responsibility and task of keeping everyone informed and working together on a timeline to ensure everything and everyone understands what is happening and your guests are not bored out of their minds. The real question you should be asking is: Do I really know how to do that and if so, do I really want to take on that immense responsibility and headache during a time I could be and should be simply enjoying my once in a lifetime special day with all of my family and friends. Believe me your guests will need as much of your undivided attention as you are able to give them. There is no other individual or sound company available that truly understands how to make this happen and is talented enough to consistently perform than Fiesta Sounds. So with that in mind, please sit back, relax, and let us take on that responsibility so you do not have to and for goodness sake just enjoy your special day!!!! When will I speak with the actual event coordinator/DJ that will be providing their services for my wedding/reception?

ü     We commit to meet with you at least twice before your event. You will meet with your event coordinator/DJ initially to give you your wedding planning guide and song list “your homework” and to review what information we need back to assist you in designing a custom event for you. This normally happens when you reserve your date with the event coordinator. Then you will meet with them again within a month before your wedding/reception to review the final details of your wedding planning guide and song lists. This is the time that you will design a timeline for your special day with them.

 

Will we get a professional DJ?

ü     The DJ's who work with Fiesta Sounds all go through an intense on the job training program which lasts over a year, then are tested in all phases of interaction. Which means not only will you get the best, most qualified, experienced DJ for your event but they are also trained event coordinators that will make you feel relaxed and confident all of your needs are being taken care of! Additionally, most DJ’s have previous public speaking or radio backgrounds and you can definitely tell they love what they do! All interaction and communication with your guests is extremely polite and professional at the same time also fun and energetic, again based on your personal tastes and specifications.

What will my event coordinator/DJ wear?

ü     Whatever you want them to. Normally either a suit or tuxedo. Based on your personal taste and theme of your wedding they can dress to fit the style.

What happens if you do not have the music that I want to hear for my wedding/reception?

ü     First of all that is highly unlikely because we use only the highest quality mixture of CD, digital, and most popular of sound recordings from our vast selection from the 1920’s through current day. However, if you request something that we do not currently have we will locate it for you or you are welcome to bring your own. The bottom line is we will play what you and your guests request and want to hear period for your ceremony and reception….

What type of sound equipment do you use?

ü     Only the most professional state of the art sound equipment available and suitable for the size of your event. We will customize what we bring based on your needs and requests. It will definitely give you and your guests a suitable volume based on your agenda and crystal clear sound for all announcements and music played throughout your event, guaranteed.

How do we reserve an event coordinator/DJ for our wedding/reception?

ü     Simply contact us to schedule your initial in person FREE consultation to explore your vision and our ability to provide a custom service to take your vision and turn it into a perfect reality! Once we have designed a custom package together we will need a down payment, normally 50% of your event total to reserve your date, any discounts and your event coordinator/DJ.

What time will my event coordinator/DJ arrive to set-up and is early set-up an extra charge?

ü     They will arrive at least one hour in advance of the scheduled start time and it is included in your package rate.

What if we want our event coordinator/DJ to play beyond the agreed timeframe at our reception?

ü     All you have to do is ask and they will be happy to stay as long as you would like. Simply pay them the hourly rate for whatever timeframe you agree to. Please try and let them know at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled end time.
